Emu Point is a suburb of South Western, Western
Australia and is about 389 kms south-southeast of
WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Emu Point was 300 when
there were 165 Females and 135 Males living there.
Emu Point is a north-eastern suburb of Albany in
southern Western Australia north-east of Albany's
central business district. Its local government area
is the City of Albany.
Emu Point is located a few kilometres north-east of
Albany City Centre. The Point itself is a rocky
groyne with views over King George Sound and
Middleton Beach from the northern end.

The Oyster Harbour side of Emu Point however is
completely protected and is a perfect place for
relaxing with a picnic and having a swim thanks to
the shallow, clear waters and excellent facilities.
